Can you grind my coffee for me?
100% Yes! There is an option to choose the right grind size for you when you’re shopping our coffees, just pick your order size and grind type and leave the rest to us.
What grind do I need?
Bean – for you to grind with your own grinder at home.
Cafetière – The coarsest grind size ideal for immersion brewing like French press, cafetière and cold brew. A 13 on the EK43 grinder.
V60, Filter, Aeropress – ideal for most filter type brewers. This is a medium grind, 9 on the EK43 grinder.
Moka Pot – ideal for moka/stove top pots. This is a medium fine, 5 on the EK43 grinder.
Espresso – This is the finest grind, 2 on the EK43 grinder, this will work with most home espresso machines, but espresso is a crawl beast so you may have to play around with the coffee weight you use.

How do I store coffee at home?
To keep your coffee as fresh as possible, you need to protect your coffee from air, sunlight, heat, and moisture. These all will contribute to making it stale and lose flavour.
We suggest keeping your coffee in an airtight container, in a cool, dry cupboard. Our bags all have a de-gassing valve, to let out CO2 that the beans produce once roasted, it’s not just there to sniff the coffee, and a reusable ziplock. So if you don’t have a fancy coffee jar just push the air out the bag, lip the lock and give the bag another squeeze to get any remaining air out.
Do not store your coffee in the fridge. Roasted coffee absorbs moisture from the air (hygroscopic) and will also take up surrounding aromas. The aromas and moisture levels in the fridge will react with the coffee and delicate flavours will deteriorate.
What delivery do you use?
We use royal mail 2nd class delivery for most of our orders.
Royal mail state that this is 2 working days but can be longer and we have experienced a minority of packages taking up to 2 weeks to be delivered.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Orders are packed as soon as possible, usually the same day. You will receive a “completed” email once the order has been dropped off at the post office.
If there is a delay to this we will contact you.
Will my coffee be fresh?
We only roast small batches, usually 3kg or 5kg at a time of each coffee and usually on a Monday or Tuesday, and once that has run out we roast the next batch of that coffee. This ensures that we use most coffees within 1-2 weeks of being roasted, giving it the perfect time to of de-gassed after the roast process.
Where do you source your green coffee from?
All our coffee is specialty grade, this means that there is an emphasis on high quality and ensuring that the farmers and producers are fairly paid for their hard work.
Due to this we work with green importers that are working at origin, have ties back to origin and are putting back into project at origin.
Some of the green importers we use are:-
- Omwani
- Indo China
- Karst Organic
- Sucafina
But we are always on the look out for other great importers.
We don’t work with any farms directly yet, mainly due to only using a small quantity of coffee at a time, 1-2 sacks of most coffees, and trying to import those small quantities would not be cost effective for us or the farmer.
